Earlier this year I had a customer request an unfinished Robin Hood and Maid Marian keyholder set that was left unfinished so that they could paint it. It turned out super cute! So I have been wanting to try painting a few extra special keyholders like this. I had a commission order for a Pokemon keyholder painted so I took the chance to paint this one as well while I had all my paints out.
I love how the forest and colors turned out so can't wait to show it off at conventions! Our couple keychains are laser engraved and cut and most commonly using a poplar hardwood. My amazing husband sands and tests their fit with keys, they have 3-4 rotations of finish coats and sanding for a beautiful quality finish.
