A little piece of the islands waiting for you at the end of every adventure. ♡
This hand-painted wooden keyholder features my original Kingdom Hearts inspired artwork, with Sora and Kairi as removable character keychains against the lush tropical scenery of Destiny Islands. The waterfall, palm trees, wooden docks, and a little paopu fruit tucked into the scene bring their island home to life.
When you come home, simply pop the characters into their matching spaces—like little puzzle pieces returning to the islands after another adventure.
Each set is drawn, laser engraved, hand painted, and finished by me, turning a practical place for your keys into a unique little piece of game-inspired artwork for your wall.
One-of-a-kind painted piece ♡
I usually create just one hand-painted version of each keyholder at a time, so once this one finds a home, it may be a while before another appears! If it's sold out, you can request this design as a custom painted order.
☆ Hand-painted & laser-engraved poplar hardwood
☆ Keyholder approximately 6–8"
☆ 2 removable wooden character keychains, approximately 2.5" tall
☆ Metal key rings & wall-hanging hooks included
☆ Sealed finish to help protect the wood and painted artwork
How does it hold your keys?
No magnets! The character keychains pop securely into specially cut slots in the wooden backdrop. The puzzle-like design is sturdy enough to hold even heavier sets of keys while keeping the characters easy to remove when it's time to head out.
Because each piece is made from real wood and painted by hand, small variations in wood grain and painting are part of what makes every set unique. Hand-painted pieces are sealed for protection, but—as with any painted item that is regularly handled—some wear may develop over time.
Want your own little piece of the islands? You can request this design as a custom painted order with a favorite character pairing of your own, or ask about creating a completely custom StarInMyPocket keyholder. ☆
